August 28: still homeless, got denied for multiple housing mostly due to discriminatory practices re:source of income so we’re currently working on getting jobs. Showers and shit will need to be more frequent and we’ll need more cbd and other pain management stuff during job hunt/while working and unhoused so any help would be super appreciated. Thanks!
Sept 2: two of our crew split and are going to Bellingham to live in a community house instead. So now it’s just 3 of us which is like, good and bad. We’ve got a bunch of job applications out, but we’re trying to stay cleaner and more presentable while job hunting so that means showers and motels/legit campgrounds more often.

My mom is 60 and still working and struggling to make ends meet every month. A month ago she had emergency surgery for an infected gallbladder and had to be put on bed which put us behind. She has only just been able to return to work 2 days out of the week. There are exstensivedamages that was done from the 2016 flood that need to be repaired and bills that need to be paid. Police say Leroux had a gun next to him. They have not yet stated explicitly what made them open fire, though. However they did tell his family they believed he was brandishing the gun. However, his family was given 25 minutes of footage to look at and his father had this to say:

The gun was legally purchased and legally owned. Even if he had a gun, he committed no crime simply by carrying in the state of Maryland. According to OP, he had it as a means of protecting himself because he was living out of his car.
Although… 24 shots? That’s excessive regardless of whatever their shitty excuse is.
I’m not posting every article I looked at (and encourage you to do your own fact-checking), but several state that while he wasn’t cooperative, he was calm. Calm. His ex said he wasn’t doing great mentally or emotionally, but she couldn’t see him brandishing a gun at police. The OP in the video says themselves that they didn’t see anything in the footage either and that the gun stayed in the passenger seat.
And the police? Their only justification thus far is that damn gun they can’t even prove was in his hands when they opened fire.
